ياسمين اللفتاوي، عمري 22، من الأردن، طالبة علاج طبيعي، كاتبة وقارئة في العديد من المجالات، وناشطة في العمل التطوعي والخدمة المجتمعيّة من 2017، ومهتمة بالعديد من القضايا منها النوع الاجتماعي وحقوق المرأة ال والإجتماعية، وحقوق ذوي الإعاقة والتغيّر المناخي، مشاركاتي العديدة في المجتمع جعلت مني شخص شغوف في البحث في أركان المجتمع، وعملي على العديد من القضايا جعلني مهتمة في التحسين والتطوير في مدينتي، وكوني فتاة ترعرت في الزرقاء كانت دائماً لدي الرغبة لأعرف المزيد عنها، وسبب تهميشها رغم أنها بالنسبة لي من أجمل المدن الأردنيّة وهذا كان سبب انضمامي لهذا المشروع الذي أوضح لي بأهمية تواجدي فيه كوني أحد شباب الزرقاء الفاعلين.

Yasmine

I am Yasmin Al-Laftawi, 22 years old, from Jordan. I am a physiotherapy student, a writer, and an avid reader in various fields. I have been actively volunteering and engaging in community service since 2017. I have a deep interest in issues such as gender, women’s health and social rights, the rights of persons with disabilities, and climate change. My extensive community involvement has fueled my passion for exploring societal dynamics, and my work on various issues has sparked my keen interest in improving and developing my city. 

As someone who grew up in Zarqa, I have always had the desire to learn more about my city and understand the reasons behind its marginalization, despite it being, in my eyes, one of the most beautiful cities in Jordan. This passion is what motivated me to join this project, which has highlighted the importance of my active role as one of the youth driving change in Zarqa.
